APOYO LAGOON ACTIVITY- SWIM & KAYAK IN A VOLCANIC CRATER LAKE!
Laguna de Apoyo is an unspoiled, deep blue, crater lake, which was formed 23,000 years ago when the Apoyo Volcano exploded. Now dormant, it is a protected national treasure. Here you may swim, kayak, paddle board, sunbathe on a swim platform or simply relax in a hammock and enjoy the view while enjoying a cool beverage. Drinks and food can be purchased at the lakeside Tiki-hut, (refreshments and lunch is not included in the price of this activity). Kayaks, boards, life-vests, changing rooms and showers are included in the price of this activity.
Activity Duration: 5 hours
Activity includes: Transportation from Hacienda Puerta del Cielo to Laguna de Apoyo and entrance fees. Please note that this is not a guided tour. Our driver will escort you to Laguna de Apoyo, wereupon you will be free to choose how you spend your day! You may kayak and swim or simply relax lakeside with a cook drink in your hand!
Departs by: 9:oo AM returns about 3:00 PM. Lunch and drinks may be purchased lakeside. (Please note that the cost of food and drinks are not included in the price of any of our excursions).
